Ukrainian esports team NAVI qualifies for major in Shanghai

On the way to the major, Natus Vincere won the first two matches, after which they lost to MOUZ, and then won a decisive victory over the Portuguese team.

“After three victories at the RMR, Born to Win has secured a slot at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 and will continue their fight for the title of champions of two Major tournaments in a row,” the team’s website says.

For reference. Natus Vincere (Latin for “Born to Win”), abbreviated to NAVI, is a Ukrainian esports team that became the first in the history of esports to win three major Counter Strike tournaments in one year – World Cyber Games 2010, Intel Extreme Masters and Electronic Sports World Cup.

Also, as Champion reminds, the second qualifying tournament for the Perfect World Shanghai Major starts on November 21, where two Ukrainian teams B8 and Passion UA, owned by Arsenal and Ukraine’s national team player Oleksandr Zinchenko, will compete for the victory.

The main stage of the Shanghai Major will take place from December 5 to 15, with a prize pool of $1,250,000.
