Ukrainian soybeans are getting cheaper: new market trends

29 September 2025 12:07

Soybeans are getting cheaper on the Ukrainian domestic market.

This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to analysts of APK-Inform.

The current situation is explained by the increase in the number of offers of soybeans during the harvesting campaign. Also, the trend is caused by the significant decrease in soybean exports since the beginning of September due to the lack of understanding of the necessary documentation for the export of this crop against the background of the 10% duty on soybean exports.

As of the beginning of last week, the demand prices for soybeans decreased mainly by 200-600 UAH/t compared to a week earlier and are voiced on average in the range of 16500-16800 UAH/t CPT.

As a reminder, Ukrainian exports of apples have collapsed. Ukraine exported 16.8 thsd tonnes of apples worth $10.1 mln, which is 64% less than in 2023/24 season, when the exports amounted to 47 thsd tonnes of apples.
