In the night of 22 August, Ukrainian drones struck a military airfield in the village of Marinovka, Volgograd Region. This is evidenced by a number of videos that appeared on Russian and Ukrainian Telegram channels, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
According to Ukrainian-Israeli military commentator Yigal Levin, the strike was on an ammunition depot. Local residents report dozens of detonations.
Another local resident reports that “all the new hangars” were destroyed in the strike.

After the strike, OSINT researcher MT Anderson posted on Twitter satellite images of the airfield taken on 19 August. As it turned out, 14 Su-24 and 15 Su-34 aircraft were parked at the airfield, as well as 8 trucks 18 metres long.

Judging by the nature of the detonations and explosions, which can be clearly seen in the second video from a local resident, there is a high probability that no equipment survived the attack.
