Ukrainian soldiers liberate village in Sumy region

The Ukrainian military liberated and cleared the village of Bezsalivka from Russian occupants. The village is located in Sumy region near the border with Russia.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces have liberated and completely cleared the village of Bezsalivka, Sumy region, from the Russian occupiers,” the statement said.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, units of the 33rd separate assault regiment and the 24th separate assault battalion were involved in the operation.
During the fighting, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 18 Russian invaders.
As a reminder, on July 7, 2025, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the alleged capture of Bezsalivka.
The head of the Bilopil community, Yuriy Zarko, told the media that several people remained in Bezsalivka. They refused to evacuate. According to him, there is no communication with the residents of Bezsalivka, and mobile networks are not working there.
