Ukrainian business under attack from Russia: warehouse of chips and crackers manufacturer destroyed

A Russian strike on November 2 completely destroyed the Star Brands Group’s warehouse in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovs’k region. Finished products and raw materials of well-known Ukrainian brands of chips and crackers burned on an area of 11,000 square meters. This was reported by the company’s co-founder Ivan Omelchenko on Facebook, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Unfortunately, yesterday the enemy continued its offensive in its war against Ukrainian chips and crackers. At 14.30, a warehouse of finished products and raw materials in Pavlohrad with a size of 11 thousand square meters was completely destroyed. Tens of millions worth of products were destroyed. The firefighters could not start liquidation for a long time because there were still chessmen in the sky, their heroic work lasted all night,” Omelchenko wrote.
According to him, there were no casualties among the employees, as everyone followed safety rules and went down to specially equipped shelters in time.
“Fortunately, none of the employees were killed, but this is not just luck, but strict adherence to instructions in such situations. And the most important thing is that we have built special shelters at all our enterprises,” emphasized the co-founder of Star Brands.

This is not the first time that Russian shelling has caused damage to Ukrainian food producers.
In late October, a missile strike on Kyiv damaged the production facilities of Idealist Coffee, the largest producer of drip coffee in Ukraine.
