Ukrainians started receiving UAH 1000 as part of the Winter Support program

The first payments have been made under the Winter Support program for applications submitted since November 15.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to her, 1.7 million adult Ukrainians have already received funds under the program. Also, 253 thousand payments for children have been made.
Svyrydenko noted that more than 10 million Ukrainians have applied for UAH 1,000 as part of the Winter Support program.
She reminded that the funds received can be used until the end of June next year: to pay for utilities, purchase medicines, Ukrainian-made products (except for excisable goods), books, as well as for charitable contributions or postal services.

“Winter support”
In the fall, the government announced the introduction of payments under the Winter Support program for 2025. In particular, all Ukrainians can receive a one-time payment of one thousand hryvnias.
Another element of the Winter Support program is the payment of UAH 6,500 to certain categories of Ukrainians. The application process started on November 21.
In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia’s program UZ 3000, which provides free train tickets, will be available for the winter period.
