Ukrainians will have their electricity cut off again: updated schedule for November 27

27 November 2025 00:25

Following new massive Russian missile and drone attacks, Ukraine’s power grid is once again operating under a power shortage. As a result, today, November 27, all regions of the country will be subject to emergency and hourly power outages. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Ukrenergo.

The transmission system operator emphasizes that the intensity and duration of the restrictions directly depend on the situation in the power system, which remains complicated due to repeated Russian strikes on power facilities.

What outage schedules will be in effect on November 27

1. Hourly blackouts for households

From 00:00 to 23:59

  • from 0.5 to 2.5 outages per day (the number depends on the region and load).

Scheduled outages can be introduced and canceled promptly depending on the balance of electricity production and consumption.

2. Power restrictions for industry

From 00:00 to 23:59

  • power limitation schedules for enterprises and large industrial consumers will be in effect.

Such measures help to stabilize the power system and ensure priority power supply to the population.

Why the schedules may change

“Ukrenergo warns that the time and scope of restrictions may change in real time. This is due to:

  • fluctuations in consumption;
  • emergency situations in the grid;
  • unpredictable consequences of previous attacks;
  • the need to quickly redistribute energy between regions.

What do energy experts advise?

“Follow the information on the official pages of regional power distribution companies in your region. When electricity is supplied on schedule, please consume it sparingly,” urged Ukrenergo.

Experts emphasize that rational use of electricity during hours when there is light helps to avoid longer or more frequent blackouts.

What Ukrainians should do

  • Check the schedule of your regional power distribution company – it may differ from the general time frame.
  • Charge phones, power banks, flashlights in advance.
  • Turn off unnecessary appliances before the predicted outage.
  • Plan household tasks for hours when the power is guaranteed to be on.

Where to find out your outage schedule

“Ukrenergo urges Ukrainians to follow the updates on the official pages of regional power distribution companies in their region. They publish current schedules and changes in outages.

“When electricity is supplied on schedule, please use it sparingly,” the company emphasized.

Information for each region is updated in social networks on the official pages of the regional power distribution companies:
