New cyclone to hit Ukraine: weather forecast for October 8

Today, on October 8, an active southern cyclone will come to Ukraine, bringing wet weather, precipitation and significant temperature contrasts. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
“Due to the active southern cyclone centered over our Crimea and the activity of atmospheric fronts, there will be wet cloudy weather almost everywhere. The most intense rains are expected in the southern part – attention! including Odesa region,” she said.
Significant precipitation is unlikely in the east and in the afternoon in western Ukraine.
The forecaster also warns of increased winds:
“Up to gusts in the south, east, and center. In the north, sometimes gusty. In the west – lighter, moderate. The wind direction is east, northeast.”
The air temperature will be very contrasting: in the west, only 9… 12 degrees are expected during the day, while in the east and southeast – 15… 20 degrees. In the center – from Vinnytsia 12 to Dnipro 19, in Poltava, Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions – 12…15, in the north 13…16, and in the south 16…20, in Odesa region about 14.
On October 8, cloudy, humid weather is forecast in Kyiv, with rain in some places, and the temperature will reach 15 degrees during the day.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on October 8, Ukraine will experience truly autumnal rain-rich weather due to atmospheric fronts of an active southern cyclone centered over the Black Sea.
The pressure will drop and humidity will remain high. It will be moderately warm for this time of year (both at night and during the day in most regions), the warmest in the east and southeast, and the coldest at night in the western regions.
In Ukraine, except for the far west, there will be light, sometimes moderate rains, in the Odesa region significant, in the southern regions heavy rains with thunderstorms.
Northeast wind, 7-12 m / s, in the Carpathians, in the south and southeast of the country, in some places gusts of 15-20 m / s.
The temperature at night will be 8-13°, in the southeastern part up to 16°, in the western regions 4-9° Celsius; during the day 11-16°, in the east and southeast of the country 16-21°.
