Rains to cover Ukraine: weather forecast for March 12

At night, moderate rains are forecast in most regions, and significant precipitation is possible in the Carpathians and Transcarpathia. During the day, light rains are possible only in the northern regions.
The wind will be mainly from the southwest, at a speed of 7-12 m/s. In the Carpathians, as well as in some places in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Poltava and Kharkiv regions, gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are possible.
The air temperature will remain quite high for this time of year. At night, thermometers will show 4…9°C, and during the day the air will warm up to 14…19°C. On the coasts of the Black and Azov Seas, it will be slightly cooler – 9…14°C. In the Carpathians, the temperature at night will be 1…6°C, and during the day it will rise to 8…13°C.
On March 12, cloudy weather with clearing is expected in the Kyiv region and in Kyiv. There will be moderate rain at night and light rain during the day. Southwest wind, 7-12 m / s, gusts of 15-20 m / s in some places in the region. The temperature at night in the region will be 4… 9°C, during the day 14… 19°C. In Kyiv, at night it is expected to be 7… 9°C, and during the day 15… 17°C.
Forecasters also warn of a significant avalanche hazard in the highlands of Ivano-Frankivsk and eastern Zakarpattia regions on March 11-12. The hazard level is third, which indicates a high risk of avalanches.
