Ukraine will face three hot waves in the coming days – when it will be the hottest

3 July 08:18

The first days of July in Ukraine will be a real weather carousel: hot waves will alternate with short periods of relief. This was reported by a well-known weather forecaster Natalka Didenko on her Facebook page, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“The heat is gradually moving to Ukraine, but do not panic,” she said.

Forecast for July 3: hot, but not critical

on July 3, summer-like warm weather is expected in most regions – 27…32 °C. In the northeast of the country, it will be slightly cooler – 23…27 °C, with possible thunderstorms. The wind, which has been bothering Ukrainians in recent days, will finally subside.

It will be sunny and dry in Kyiv, with daytime temperatures of 28…30 °C.

Heat waves: when it will be the hottest

on July 4, the heat will intensify, although a brief cooling is expected in the west of the country.

on July 5-6, the temperature will drop slightly in most regions, and this will be a “respite” from the heat.

onJuly 7-8, a powerful heat wave will return to Ukraine.

On July 9, another drop in temperature is expected.

The forecaster urged Ukrainians not to panic because of the harsh headlines in the media.

“Do not be fooled by weather gossip and unscrupulous media. There will be enough heat and coolness for everyone!” emphasized Natalia Didenko.

It should be noted that the extreme heat in southern Europe has caused the deaths of six people over the past two days.

According to the BBC, two farmers in Spain were caught in a fire trap created by a forest fire. The incident occurred in Catalonia, which, like most Mediterranean regions, suffers from temperatures above 40 degrees.

In Italy, on the island of Sardinia, two men fainted on the beach and never regained consciousness. In Genoa, a man in his 80s sought help at a local hospital due to poor health, but died of a heart attack.

In France, a 10-year-old girl from the United States suffered a heart attack while visiting the Palace of Versailles near Paris. They tried to resuscitate her for an hour, but doctors pronounced her dead.
