30 July 2024 12:22
Power cuts are not expected throughout Ukraine today, 30 July. At the same time, Ukrainians are urged to postpone the use of powerful electrical appliances from 11:00 to 15:00 if possible. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Ukrenergo.
Power engineers said that consumption today, 30 July, as of 09:10, remains at the same level as yesterday, 29 July, at the same time.
“No restrictive measures are expected today. However, the power system is still recovering from the enemy attacks, and during the morning and evening hours of the highest consumption, it needs our help. If possible, please shift the use of powerful electrical appliances to daytime hours – from 11:00 to 15:00,” the statement said.
Power outages due to bad weather
In the central and western regions, two main overhead power lines were disconnected due to the weather. There were no power cuts to consumers. The lines were returned to operation by automatic control.
In the morning, 116 settlements in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy and Chernihiv regions lost power due to the weather.
Due to hostilities and other reasons, 501 settlements are without power supply in full or partially.
Due to the hostilities: there are power outages in Dnipropetrovska, Kharkivska, Donetska, Khersonska oblasts.
Earlier, NPC Ukrenergo said that due to the decrease in heat in Ukraine, electricity consumption is decreasing. The power system also has more capacity due to the fact that two nuclear power units have been restarted over the past two weeks.
