“Ukrenergo: Zaichenko remains in office and continues to work

Vitaliy Zaichenko, Chairman of the Board of NPC Ukrenergo, and members of the company’s Board continue to perform their duties.
This was reported by the company’s press service in Telegram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“The main tasks of the company today are to prepare for the expectedly difficult autumn-winter period, to immediately eliminate the consequences of damage to the power transmission system facilities and to restore reliable and sustainable power supply to consumers, to comply with the criteria for the reliability, safety and balance of the integrated power system of Ukraine, to protect the company’s personnel and critical equipment, as well as to communicate constructively and transparently with international financial institutions on further support for Ukraine.
According to the press service, NPC Ukrenergo continues to fulfill all its obligations to contractors, investors and international partners in good faith. It is extremely important for us to maintain controllability, transparency, constructiveness and broad international support so that Ukrainian power engineers continue to receive the necessary machinery and equipment for emergency repair work, and the protection of the company’s facilities is strengthened.
“We have been doing and will continue to do everything in our power to ensure that every Ukrainian has electricity in this extremely difficult time. The stable operation of NPC Ukrenergo as the operator of the IPS of Ukraine is the key to the energy stability and security of our country under martial law,” the company summarized.
As a reminder, on Friday, September 26, it became known that the Supervisory Board of Ukrenergo decided to dismiss Vitaliy Zaichenko and the entire board of the company, except for Oleksiy Brekht. He was supposed to be acting CEO.
Prior to the dismissal notice, Zaichenko had been in office for only three months, and the decision was made during an online meeting of the Supervisory Board.
