“Ukrzaliznytsia has restricted train traffic in Prykarpattia: full list

“Ukrzaliznytsia has announced a number of temporary changes to passenger train traffic in the Carpathian region. The restrictions will be in effect from September 22 to October 17, 2025, due to scheduled track repair work. This was reported by the company’s press service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The company explains that the work is being carried out in the off-season to ensure traffic safety and comfort of passenger transportation. Some trains will run on shortened routes, some – only on certain dates, and some flights are temporarily canceled.
Route restrictions from 09/28/2025 to 10/15/2025:
- no. 233/234 Kyiv – Rakhiv will run to Vorokhta station until 13.10.
- no. 143/144 Sumy – Rakhiv will run to Vorokhta station until 15.10.
On certain dates, train No. 233/234 Kyiv – Vorokhta will not run:
- from Kyiv: 29.09, 01.10, 07.10, 13.10, 15.10;
- from Vorokhta: 30.09, 02.10, 08.10, 14.10, 16.10.
There will also be no non-stop trains:
- Chernihiv – Rakhiv from 29.09 to 17.10 (according to the days of operation);
- Kovel – Rakhiv from 29.09 to 15.10 (according to the days of operation).
Two trains will run only to Lviv during repairs:
- no. 143/144 Sumy – Vorokhta (Rakhiv): on the dates of September 23, September 29, October 1, October 07, October 13, October 15.
- no. 209/210 Mykolaiv – Ivano-Frankivsk: on the following dates: 23.09, 29.09, 01.10, 07.10, 13.10, 15.10.
From September 28 to October 12, a number of trains will run only to Vorokhta instead of their standard route:
- no. 57/58 Kyiv – Yasinia,
- no. 257/258 Kropyvnytskyi – Yasinia,
- no. 55/56 Kyiv – Rakhiv,
- no. 15/16 Kharkiv – Yasinia,
- no. 108/107 Kryvyi Rih – Yasinia.
From September 28 to October 12, such flights will run only to Ivano-Frankivsk:
- no. 6/5 Zaporizhzhia – Yasinia,
- no. 33/34 Kryvyi Rih – Yasinia.
The route of train No. 95/96 Kyiv – Rakhiv is limited:
- to Vorokhta from Kyiv: 28.09, 30.09, 02.10, 04.10, 06.10, 08.10, 10.10, 12.10;
from Vorokhta: 29.09, 01.10, 03.10, 05.10, 07.10, 09.10, 11.10. - to Ivano-Frankivsk from Kyiv: 29.09, 01.10, 03.10, 05.10, 07.10, 09.10, 11.10;
from Ivano-Frankivsk: 30.09, 02.10, 04.10, 06.10, 08.10, 10.10, 12.10.
no. 26/25 Odesa – Yasinia: from 28.09 to 12.10 it will run on the route Odesa – Chernivtsi.
Two trains will not run during the repair period on certain dates:
- no. 61/62 Dnipro – Ivano-Frankivsk: will not run on 22, 23, 24, 29, 30.09 and 01, 06, 07, 08, 13, 14, 15.10 (in the opposite direction, respectively, on the following days).
- no. 751/752 Kyiv – Ivano-Frankivsk – Kyiv: will not run on 23, 24, 25, 30.09 and 01, 02, 07, 08, 09, 14, 15, 16.10.
Changes in the route of passenger trains via Stryi (instead of Khodoriv)
no. 142/141 Chernihiv – Ivano-Frankivsk on the following dates:
- from Chernihiv: 23.09, 29.09, 01.10, 07.10, 13.10, 15.10;
- from Ivano-Frankivsk: 24.09, 30.09, 02.10, 08.10, 14.10, 16.10.
no. 228/227 Kramatorsk – Ivano-Frankivsk:
- from Kramatorsk: 22.09, 24.09, 30.09, 06.10, 08.10, 14.10;
- from Ivano-Frankivsk: 23.09, 25.09, 01.10, 07.10, 09.10, 15.10.
What does Ukrzaliznytsia advise?
The company emphasized that traffic safety remains a top priority, so repairs are necessary.
Passengers are advised to plan their travels in advance, taking into account changes in the schedule.
