Ukrzaliznytsia urgently changes train schedules for February 13: list of flights

13 February 07:48

Ukrzaliznytsia has announced urgent changes to suburban train schedules for Friday, February 13. The temporary adjustments will affect a number of routes in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, in particular those passing through Lozova and neighboring stations. This was reported by the carrier’s press service, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Passengers are advised to check the updated schedule in advance and take the changes into account when planning their trips.

Which trains will change their route on February 13

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the routes of several suburban trains will be temporarily adjusted.

In particular, the route of the following train has been changed:

  • No. 6414 Lymanyvka — Kharkiv-Pasazhyrskyi

Previously, the train ran on the route Lozova — Kharkiv-Passenger, but now it will depart from the Limanivka station.

The final stations of two trains have also been changed:

  • No. 6277 Lozova — Varvarivka (previously ran on the route Lozova — Aromatna);
  • No. 6272 Varvarivka — Lozova (instead of the Aromatna — Lozova route).

These changes will only be in effect on February 13 and are temporary.

Reasons for the changes and recommendations for passengers

Ukrzaliznytsia explained that the schedule adjustments are necessary to ensure transport safety and optimize train traffic in regions where the situation remains tense.

In particular, Russian troops have recently intensified their attacks on railway infrastructure. In the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, drones have damaged locomotives, diesel trains, and railway tracks, and railway workers have been injured.

In this regard, the carrier is forced to respond quickly and change routes to ensure the safety of passengers and employees.

What passengers should do

Passengers are advised to:

  • check the current train schedule on the official website or in the Ukrzaliznytsia app;
  • take into account possible delays or route changes;
  • plan alternative routes if necessary;
  • follow the carrier’s official announcements.

If restrictions continue, Ukrzaliznytsia will announce additional changes separately.

The situation with rail service remains tense

Ukrainian railway infrastructure is regularly targeted by Russian troops. Despite this, railway workers continue to provide stable connections between regions and quickly repair damaged facilities.

Ukrzaliznytsia urges passengers to be understanding of the temporary changes, as they are primarily aimed at ensuring the safety of transportation.
