Umerov announces a major inspection of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Main Inspectorate of the Defense Ministry will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to Umerov, the Land Forces are a key element of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is responsible for:
- mobilization,
- training of the military,
- manning units,
- and the effectiveness of combat operations.
The Defense Minister explained that events in the Land Forces directly affect the situation at the front.
“That is why I support the need for the new commander of the Armed Forces, Major General Mykhailo Drapaty, to have a complete picture of the situation,” Umerov emphasized.
The inspection will include an analysis of the organizational structure and powers, an assessment of the effectiveness of management processes and a check for compliance with the law.
Based on the results of the audit, reforms will be introduced in the management system and personnel policy, the management process will be optimized, and the combat capability of the units will be enhanced through new approaches to training.
