A new Ukrposhta branch in Lviv was destroyed in a Russian attack: what the company says

In Lviv, a Russian attack on November 19 destroyed a new and modernly equipped Ukrposhta branch. This was reported by the head of the company, Ihor Smelyansky, "Komersant Ukrainian".
What Ukrposhta says
Smelyansky said that the employees were not injured, but the strike led to the destruction of about 900 parcels.
The company immediately began compensation procedures for customers and promised to resume the work of the branch
It added that the processing of requests will be carried out on a priority basis.
Previous attacks on Ukrposhta
The attack in Lviv is not the first time the company’s facilities have been hit:
- on September 23, the post office in Tatarbunary, Odesa region, was heavily damaged.
- onOctober 24, a Russian Grad rocket hit Kherson, killing the postmaster.
- In October, two Ukrposhta vehicles were attacked in the border areas of Sumy region.
As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on November 19, Russians fired more than 470 attack drones and 48 missiles of various types at Ukraine.
