The government launches a new stage of recovery: communities have been allocated over UAH 740 million for infrastructure projects

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the allocation of UAH 740.3 million in subsidies to local budgets as part of the Ukraine Recovery Program III for 2026. The funds will be used to finance the next wave of projects to restore social and critical infrastructure in the regions.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery and Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
What exactly will the money be spent on?
According to Kuleba, the state budget funds will be used directly to restore facilities, particularly in regions affected by Russian aggression.
In total, 119 projects in 21 regions of Ukraine will receive funding, including:
- 21 projects — restoration of healthcare facilities;
- 63 projects — water supply and sanitation facilities;
- 35 projects — improving the energy sustainability of communities.
International component
All projects have been approved by the European Investment Bank in accordance with the financial agreement between Ukraine and the EIB. This means that the selection and control of funding are carried out in accordance with procedures agreed with European partners.
