Government launches “Horizon”: what services will be available for the unemployed in “Diia”

A new digital ecosystem called Obriy will be launched in Ukraine. Citizens will be able to register their unemployment status in Diia. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“The government has supported the launch of the new ecosystem ‘Obriy’,” she said.
“Through Diia, a person will be able to:
- register unemployment status;
- apply for benefits;
- officially resign in the temporarily occupied territories;
- receive a grant of up to UAH 15 thousand for retraining.
“The Obriy system will automatically identify those who have lost their jobs and match them with vacancies based on skills, experience, and location (AI-matching),” Svyrydenko explained.
In addition, real-time analytics will help the government and businesses predict skills needs.
All key government institutions are connected to Obriy.
“All key government institutions are connecting to the system. The State Employment Service will become the administrator,” the official added.
