The newly crowned absolute world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk after his brilliant knockout victory in the rematch against Daniel Dubois named potential rivals for his next fight.

This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".

The Ukrainian boxer addressed the fans at Wembley Stadium, asking them who they would like to see him fight next.

“Who is next? Maybe Tyson Fury? Maybe Dereck Chisora, Anthony Joshua. Maybe Joseph Parker? I can’t say yet, because I want to come home,” Usyk said.

When asked about his future plans, Oleksandr said that he was going to return to his family and rest.

“What else can I achieve? Nothing. That’s it. I just want to rest. I don’t know. I want to go home, to my family, to my wife and children. I want to rest. But maybe in 2-3 months… Now I want to rest,” Usyk emphasized.

Usyk defeated Dubois by knockout in the fifth round and won the title of absolute world champion for the third time. It first happened in 2018, when the Ukrainian defeated Russian Murat Gassiev in a fight for all cruiserweight titles (weight category up to 90.7 kg). And in 2024, Oleksandr won the title of “absolute” in the super-heavyweight division, defeating the British Tyson Fury.

Now the 38-year-old Usyk has 24 victories (15 by knockout) in 24 fights in the professional ring.
