Ukrzaliznytsia has launched online ticket sales for commuter trains in seven more regions. You can book a trip in just a few seconds and skip the lines using the mobile app. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing a Facebook post from the press service of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.
“From now on, passengers in seven more regions of the country can purchase tickets for commuter trains directly on their phones,” the company explained.
Which regions of Ukraine have been added to the list
Online tickets have been added to the following regions:
- in Lviv Oblast;
- in Volyn Oblast;
- in the Ternopil region;
- in Rivne region;
- in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast;
- in Zakarpattia Oblast;
- in the Chernivtsi region.
What an e-ticket guarantees passengers
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the changes introduced are an important step in digital transformation, improving service quality and making every journey more comfortable.
Passengers were also informed that the e-ticket:
- is stored in the app;
- guarantees quick boarding;
- allow you to make a purchase in seconds.
How to get a train ticket “in just a few clicks”
To get an online ticket on your phone, you need to:
- download the UZ app
- go to the “Suburban” section;
- select your departure points;
- purchase a ticket.
“Forget about lines—choose the Ukrzaliznytsia app,” the company concluded.
Finally, Ukrainians were reminded that the UZ app is available for both iOS and Android.
