Repair work on the damaged bridge in Odesa region continues, and the logistics situation is expected to improve in the near future.

The head of the Recovery Agency, Serhiy Sukhomlyn, said this on Suspilne TV channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“The engineers are working to ensure that the relevant services can resume repairing the bridge as soon as possible. We understand that this is very important for the country, for the supply of oil products, among other things. The government has done everything possible to redirect oil products via other routes, and this is possible. So I think we will normalize the situation in two or three days,” said Sukhomlin.

Regarding the work on the damaged bridge, the head of the Recovery Agency added that it is complicated by regular shelling. In particular, the latter has worsened the condition of the structure. At the same time, Sukhomlyn emphasized that the Agency’s services have actual experience in eliminating such consequences, and he hopes that the work will be completed in the near future.

Currently, alternative routes are being used to connect with the southwestern part of Odesa region, in particular through Moldova.

“But we realize that there are many people without foreign passports. The Cabinet of Ministers is currently doing a lot of work, including at the international level, to resolve this issue,” added Sukhomlin.
