The Brave1 defense cluster has presented new anti-drone ammunition capable of effectively hitting moving air targets. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

According to him, these rounds have the appearance of conventional assault rifle ammunition, but are equipped with a special warhead, which significantly increases the likelihood of hitting FPV drones or Mavic quadcopters before they are attacked.

Fedorov also said that the development has already been codified according to NATO standards, which allows it to be used by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The goal is for every infantryman to have at least some of this ammunition in his magazine and be able to respond quickly to an air threat,” the official said.

The new product will be another step in strengthening defense capabilities on the battlefield and increasing the survival rate of the Ukrainian military in the face of the growing role of drones in modern warfare.
