Ukraine has canceled the increase in gas tariffs in 2025

Gas tariffs for consumers will not change in Ukraine. This was reported by the National Energy Regulatory Commission on December 31, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“The current gas tariff for households remains unchanged. The NEURC’s decision to approve new tariffs for gas transportation will not affect household consumers,” the statement said.
on December 30, 2024, the NEURC approved new tariffs for natural gas transmission services for LLC Gas TSO of Ukraine (GTSOU), they are calculated for entry and exit points for the regulatory period of 2025-2029.
These tariffs take into account the termination of Russian gas transit through the territory of Ukraine, which is planned to start on January 1, 2025.
“Gas and heat tariffs for household consumers will not change if the tariff of the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine is adopted, they are fixed for the entire heating season,” confirmed Yuriy Vlasenko, the Head of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission.
The cost of gas distribution also remains unchanged.
The moratorium on raising gas and heating tariffs for households, which has been in effect since 2022, remains in force. Accordingly, the cost of hot water and heating will not change.
