A large-scale leak of personal data of 20 million people occurred in Ukraine.

This was reported by MP Oleksandr Fediyenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

According to the MP, a file called diia_users_db_2025 is offered for purchase on the Internet. Its name hints that the data leak came from the Diia public services platform.

According to MP Oleksandr Fediyenko, the archive contains phone numbers of citizens. Among them are well-known politicians, he emphasized.

In light of the data leak, the parliamentarian recommended that Ukrainians immediately change passwords on all resources associated with their phone number or email address. He also advised enabling two-factor authentication and, if possible, changing their financial data.

“The financial number should not be public. Ideally, each application should have its own number,” emphasized Fediyenko.

The MP added that the database consists of information relevant as of December 31, 2024.

At the same time, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak does not share his colleague’s opinion. He assures that this is an old leak, from the old leak of the Diia database with 3.5 million lines.

“In short, it’s just a piece of the old database that has been leaked a long time ago. There is nothing new here,” he emphasized.
