Emergency power outages are in effect throughout Ukraine as a result of Russian attacks on energy facilities. This was reported by Ukrenergo, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The reason for the tightening of restrictive measures is the consequences of Russian attacks on energy facilities.
Later, Ukrenergo said that emergency power outages were introduced in some regions of Ukraine. First of all, industrial consumers and businesses are disconnected.
Restrictions for household consumers are applied only in certain cases (except for emergencies in the networks of regional power distribution companies)
“The situation in the power system may change. Follow the messages on the pages of the distribution system operators (oblenergos),” Ukrenergo noted.
Earlier, DTEK noted that emergency power outages were being introduced in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipro and Sumy regions.

As a reminder, on the night of February 16, Russian troops attacked a thermal power plant in Mykolaiv, which resulted in the complete destruction of power generation in the city.
