The app will provide military personnel with information and services aimed at simplifying their daily work.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the app will use standardised templates for reports that can be easily signed and submitted online in just a few clicks.
Defence Minister Rustem Umerov noted that many soldiers complain about the large amount of paperwork, such as filling out logbooks and making reports, so their goal is to digitise this process as much as possible.
The Army app is expected to include the following features:
- An electronic defender ID card to facilitate access to electronic services and combat systems.
- A comprehensive knowledge base that provides reliable information about service.
- Feedback forms for the state’s prompt response to challenges based on real data.
- Online courses for self-development.
Deputy Minister of Defence Kateryna Chernogorenko noted that the military spends considerable time on reporting and other paperwork, and the new app will simplify this process by making reports automatic and convenient.
The Ministry of Defence’s press service added that Army is being developed jointly with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and the app is scheduled to be launched in the summer.
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Defence intends to launch an electronic cabinet for persons liable for military service in the second quarter of 2024, which will allow updating data without visiting the Territorial Recruitment Centres.
