Eggs to rise in price in Ukraine: how much will they cost

In August 2025, prices for chicken eggs in Ukraine started rising earlier than usual. While in previous years, the seasonal rise in prices started in September-October, this year supermarkets updated their price tags at the end of summer.
This was reported by the deputy head of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council Denys Marchuk to Glavred. It was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian".
“The situation with eggs promises to be more or less stable, as we have increased egg production. Therefore, fluctuations in egg prices will largely depend on electricity prices, as this production consumes a huge amount of electricity. If electricity prices go up, production costs will increase. In the fall, the price of eggs may rise by 5-10%,” he said.
