Sales of electric vehicles have increased in Ukraine: TOP-10 most popular models

In May, more than 4.7 thousand used electric cars were added to the Ukrainian car fleet. The average age of these cars was 5 years. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the data of Ukravtoprom.
Growth in demand
Compared to May 2024, the demand for imported used electric vehicles increased by 40%.
This reflects the growing interest of Ukrainians in eco-friendly transportation that combines efficiency and modern technology.
Average age of electric vehicles
The average age of used electric cars on the Ukrainian market is 5 years.
This indicates that buyers prefer relatively new models with up-to-date features.
Top 10 most popular models
Top 10 models of used electric vehicles in May:
- Tesla Model Y – 544 units;
- Nissan Leaf – 515 units;
- Tesla Model 3 – 467 units;
- KIA Niro EV – 322 units;
- Hyundai Kona Electric – 265 units;
- Chevrolet Bolt – 218 units;
- Volkswagen e-Golf – 211 units;
- Renault Zoe – 204 units;
- Tesla Model S – 180 units;
- Audi E-Tron Sportback – 131 units.
“In total, since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians have purchased more than 20.6 thousand imported used electric vehicles, which is 30% more than in the same period in 2024,” Ukravtoprom states.
