French President Emmanuel Macron will not resign amid the ongoing political crisis in the country. Acting Minister for Equality and Anti-Discrimination Aurora Berger said this on TF1 TV channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“The president should not and will not resign… The president was elected and re-elected democratically,” she emphasized.

on October 6, the Elysee Palace announced that French Prime Minister Sébastien Le Coronneu had tendered his resignation and Macron accepted it.

Thus, Sébastien Le Coronneu’s term as head of the French government was the shortest in the country’s history. He headed the Cabinet for less than a month.

BFMTV reported that the French president would “take responsibility” if Le Coronneu’s next attempt to form a government failed.
