Gold price has updated its historical high

The price of gold futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange has exceeded $4100 per troy ounce for the first time in history.
This is evidenced by data from the Comex trading platform, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
During morning trading, the price of December gold futures reached $4100.6 per ounce, showing an increase of 0.75%. At 13:54 the price rose to $4102.7 per ounce (0.81%).
Experts noted that gold could rise in price in the event of a trade war between the United States and China and an escalation of the conflict in the Middle East. In such a scenario, US inflation would rise.
