Washington will send weapons again: what is known about the new US aid to Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced the resumption of military aid from the United States. The head of state announced this in his traditional evening video address to Ukrainians, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to him, this decision is an important signal of support for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. In addition to the resumption of supplies, consultations at the military level are expected to continue. Ukrainian commanders and American General Keith Kellogg will be involved in the talks, which indicates a high level of coordination between the allies.
We are now working with our partners on new supplies, on greater production of weapons in Ukraine and on greater provision of our army. There are good agreements already, and we expect more agreements. We will work for this in the coming weeks. It is important to implement each agreement as soon as possible,” Zelenskyy said.
The President emphasized that new defense assistance packages from European partners are being prepared. According to him, decisive steps to increase sanctions pressure on Russia are expected in the near future. Zelenskyy emphasized that pressure on the aggressor must be systematic and effective, because only then can a real result be achieved – a reduction in the resources that Russia directs to the war.
The President also mentioned the positive political signals coming from the United States and the European Union. These signals indicate the stability of international support for Ukraine and the willingness of partners to act in a coordinated manner in response to threats from Russia.
Thus, according to Zelenskyy, Ukraine has received a new impetus in terms of military support, international solidarity, and diplomatic pressure on the aggressor.
Zelenskyy also announced an analysis of the effectiveness of foreign policy by the government and the Presidential Office. He expects detailed reports on all agreements with foreign partners, including the United States and the EU. The President emphasized the need to monitor the implementation of all decisions.
“I expect detailed reports from government officials, from the Office team on each agreement with our partners, on each result we expected: what has been achieved and what is still being implemented. There will be conclusions – personal personnel conclusions,” the Ukrainian leader warned.
