U.S. President Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision on imposing additional duties on China for buying Russian oil.

This was stated by US Vice President J.D. Vance in an interview with Fox News, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“The president said he was thinking about it, but he hasn’t made any final decision yet,” Vance said.

He added that the issue with China is more complicated, as the relationship between China and the United States affects many other things that are not related to the situation with Russia. Vance noted that for this reason, Trump is exploring all possible options.

on July 14, Trump threatened to impose 100% secondary tariffs on Russia and its trading partners, including China and India, if no progress is made in resolving the war in Ukraine. Initially, the White House set a deadline of 50 days for Russia to cease fire, but on July 28, he reduced it to 10-12 days.
