Ukraine may simplify border crossing for young Ukrainians under the age of 22. The current limit is 18 years. This was stated by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

Zelenskyy instructed the government to work with the military to simplify border crossing for young Ukrainians.

“At the moment, there are restrictions: 18 years old at the border, I propose to raise it to 22 years old. So that there are no restrictions on crossing. I believe that this is a positive story and will help many young Ukrainians maintain ties with Ukraine and realize themselves in Ukraine, especially in education,” the President said.

Last year in April, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “On Amendments to the Rules for Crossing the State Border by Citizens of Ukraine.”

This resolution stipulates that male students will be able to cross the border during martial law under a number of conditions.

For example, if they are 18-22 years old, are not subject to military service during mobilization, study full-time at state or municipal higher education institutions and obtain a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree in medicine, pharmacy or veterinary medicine), are participants in academic mobility or go to study at foreign educational institutions for one semester.
