American singer Beyoncé has become the fifth musician in the Forbes ranking whose total income has exceeded $1 billion. This was reported by Forbes, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The artist reached the new financial milestone after the release of her album “Cowboy Carter” in 2024, in which she turned to country music.
How she earned a billion
According to Forbes, the key role was played by the concert tour in support of the album, which the publication called the highest-grossing in the singer’s career.
- 32 concerts in the US and Europe brought in over $400 million in ticket sales;
- beyoncé earned another $50 million from merchandise sales during her performances.
According to analysts, this tour cemented her ten-figure fortune.
A place in the billionaires’ club
The Forbes billionaires list currently includes 22 artists, of whom only five are musicians.
By becoming the fifth, Beyoncé joined a narrow circle of industry stars:
- rapper and producer Jay-Z (her husband);
- rock musician Bruce Springsteen;
- singer Rihanna;
- singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.
Beyoncé remains one of the most influential figures in American pop culture of the last two decades. During her career, she has won 32 Grammy Awards, a record number in the history of the award.
