German family sets a world record for decorating Christmas trees: more than 600 in the house, even in the toilet

The Jeromin family from the German city of Rinteln decorated their home with 605 Christmas trees, surpassing their own record of 555 trees last year. To create a festive atmosphere, they used more than 120,000 ornaments and 50,000 light bulbs, reports "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to UNN.

This is the family’s seventh record since 2017. Thomas Yeromin admits that the process of decorating gives him real pleasure and even calms him down.

“It’s just incredible!”

– he says.

Despite having Christmas trees in most rooms, including even the toilet, the family left some rooms without decorations. For example, this is their daughter’s bedroom and room.

“You can always find a place – whether it’s a corner, or the walls, or even the ceiling,”

– adds Suzanna Yeromin, explaining how they managed to fit so many Christmas trees in the house.

The family has become known for their tradition of breaking their own records: from 2017 to 2021, they regularly surpassed their achievements, and this year they returned to the record list again.

Given that there are still two rooms in the house that are completely free of Christmas trees, the Yeromins are not going to stop there.
