Novak: Ukraine is capable of producing everything from needles to missiles, but it needs investment

A victory would open up enormous prospects for economic growth in Ukraine. Economist Andrei Novak spoke about this in an interview with the YouTube channel [ Kommersant].

“We are capable of producing absolutely everything—from needles to space rockets and satellites. Our problem isn’t technology or capability, but investment. We simply don’t have enough money to ramp up production and develop new areas,” Novak emphasized.

The economist is convinced that Ukraine must set itself the most ambitious goal—not just recovery, but reaching a higher level of economic development.

“This is not about selectively rebuilding individual sectors, but about the comprehensive development of all industries in which the country already has or can create competitive advantages.

We must not limit ourselves to just a few areas. Ukraine must strive to develop in every possible direction. And not just to recover, but to reach a significantly higher level of economic development,” Novak concluded.
