Power cuts: what schedules will be in effect on 19 June

On Wednesday, 19 June, all regional power distribution companies will apply hourly outage schedules for industrial and residential consumers from 00:00 to 24:00. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" reports with reference to the official Telegram channel of Ukrenergo.
The reason is the projected increase in consumption due to hotter weather.
“The main reason for the restrictions is the consequences of six enemy missile attacks on Ukrainian power plants. Due to significant damage, they cannot generate as much electricity as before these attacks began,” Ukrenergo said.
It is to overcome the deficit in the power system that imports and emergency assistance from European countries are being attracted. However, due to the scale of the damage, these measures are not enough to maintain the balance in the power system, so the Ukrenergo dispatch centre is forced to apply consumption restrictions for both industrial and household consumers
The energy company assured that the power supply to critical infrastructure facilities that perform the function of life support for the population will not be limited.
