Vacation in the Carpathians 2025: current prices for rental housing

In early December, on the eve of the winter holidays, tourists traditionally become more active in search of vacation accommodation in the Carpathians. Among the popular options for daily rent are private houses and rooms in hotels or recreation centers.
OLX has analyzed the prices for daily rental housing in the most popular tourist settlements of the Carpathians, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Daily rent of houses
The most expensive settlement for daily house rental is the village of Polyanytsia, , located near the Bukovel ski resort. The average rental price here is about UAH 5,500 per day, which is 10% more than last year.
Renting a house in Tatariv is slightly cheaper – an average of UAH 4,500 per day. In Mykulychyn , the daily cost is about UAH 3,200, which is 10% less than last year. In Yablunytsia, prices remained at the level of last year’s figures – UAH 3,000 for a daily house rental.
In Yaremche , prices for daily rental houses decreased by 9% compared to last year, while in Slavske they increased by 213%. The average cost of renting a house in these settlements is UAH 2,500 per day. In Vorokhta, a night’s stay costs UAH 2,000, which is 54% higher than last year.
The cheapest options for renting houses are in Yasinya and Volovets, where the cost is UAH 900 and UAH 500, respectively.
Renting rooms in hotels and recreation centers
Unlike daily house rentals, prices for accommodation in hotels and recreation centers are somewhat lower. Tatariv is the most expensive, with an average room costing UAH 4,000, which is 86% higher than last year.
In Slavske , a room can be rented for UAH 2,500, which is 64% higher than last year. In Yablunytsia, the price is UAH 2,250, and in Mykulychyn (233% over the year) and Yasinia , it is about UAH 2,000 per night. In Polyanytsia, the average room price is UAH 1,250 (-81%), and in Yaremche (54%) and Vorokhta (-29%) – UAH 1,000 per day.
Renting private houses in the resorts of the Carpathians remains one of the most expensive accommodation options, while hotels and recreation centers offer minor cost savings. Such options may be more affordable for tourists who do not need space or a separate area.
This year’s prices in some locations have increased compared to last year, so tourists should plan their bookings in advance, especially in the run-up to the holidays.
