On October 1, Ukraine will launch a new stage of the Veteran’s Sport program, under which veterans will be able to receive UAH 1,500 for sports activities. The money will be credited through Diia.Card, a single multi-account financial instrument for government payments and personal funds. This was reported by the press service of Diia, "Komersant Ukrainian" informs

The Veteran’s Sport initiative aims to support the physical and psychological recovery of the military after service.

The funds raised can be used for:

  • gym membership
  • a visit to the swimming pool;
  • classes in sports sections or studios.

Why you should get a Diia.Card

Diia.Card is not just an account for government payments, but a convenient financial hub. It allows you to:

  • receive payments under various programs, including Veteran’s Sport
  • keep personal savings;
  • pay for services in a mixed way.

For example, if the cost of training is UAH 2,000, and the program covers UAH 1,500, the system will automatically deduct the remaining UAH 500 from your personal balance.

“If you have already received funds from the program last quarter, the new funds will be credited to your existing account. But it’s more convenient with Diia.Card because all government payments are close by,” the press service said.

How to issue a Diia.Card

It takes a few minutes to complete:

  • Open the Diia.
  • Go to the Services – Diia.Card section.
  • Choose a bank: PrivatBank, Monobank, Credit Dnipro or a-Bank.
  • Sign the agreement with Diia.Signature and you’re done.

After that, you will be able to receive all government payments – quickly, without queues and paper applications.
