No one to replace soldiers who held Vuhledar: they were left on the frontline – media

After leaving Vuhledar, the soldiers of the 72nd Black Zaporizhzhia Brigade continue to hold the line in the same area. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with citing to Suspilne TV channel.
The media outlet received the information from its own sources in the brigade.
“Some battalions that suffered significant losses during the battles for Vuhledar will be in the Donetsk region on a ‘stretch’, 10-15 km from the front line,” said one of the military during a conversation with journalists.
Another soldier said that the brigade was staying in the same area because there was no one to replace it.
TSN journalist Yulia Kiriyenko also said that after leaving Vuhledar, the 72nd Brigade was ordered to take up its positions again.
According to her, the brigade left Vuhledar with losses, and several of the seven battalions did not even have infantry left.
“I think you can imagine the moral and psychological state of the fighters. Even the commanders are writing reports to remove them from command,” Kiriyenko wrote on her Facebook page.
