The Ukrainian military has denied the information of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) about the success of the occupiers near the village of Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv region. According to Vyacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Dergachiv city military administration, this information turned out to be fake, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“This morning, social networks are spreading information about the alleged advance of Russian troops east of Kozacha Lopan. Therefore, I had a meaningful conversation with the commander of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade, who completely denied this information. Dergachiv community has 16 km of border with the aggressor state. In fact, our border is the front line, along which active hostilities are taking place,” he said.
According to Zadorenko, the occupants are constantly conducting sabotage and reconnaissance activities in the area, but have no success.

Thus, trying to cross the state border line, several Russian subversive reconnaissance groups were once again eliminated on the outskirts of the Goptivka checkpoint. The occupants have several dozen soldiers killed and wounded there.
“In addition, yesterday the fighters of the 3rd Battalion of the 58th Mechanized Brigade destroyed a Russian self-propelled howitzer “Gvozdika”, which had been covering the attacks of enemy saboteurs for several weeks, shelling the positions of our defenders. I am attaching the video of the elimination of the “Hvozdika” to this post. Therefore, for the results to continue to be tangible, we must continue to help our defenders,” Zadorenko emphasized.
On August 29, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that Russian troops had allegedly advanced east of Kozacha Lopana along the E-105 Kharkiv-Belhorod highway.
on August 26, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied that Russian troops had seized two settlements in the Dnipropetrovs’k region.
