A Russian missile attack has dealt a devastating blow to the Kharchy enterprise, which specialized in the production of freeze-dried food in Kyiv. The plant was almost completely destroyed, but its owner remains optimistic. Despite the losses, he says he has no plans to shut down operations: the company will be restored, even if it has to start from scratch. This was announced by the founder and owner Stanislav Starodubtsev, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The freeze-dried food manufacturer under the brand name Kharchy lost its workshop, office and warehouse in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack on the night of June 17. The losses amounted to $1.5 million. The company specializes in the production of freeze-dried food products, including soups, borscht, porridge, pasta and pilaf.
According to Stanislav Starodubtsev, the attack was targeted.
“It was a targeted drone attack on the company,” he said.
Fortunately, none of the employees were injured.
Despite the losses, the owner intends to resume the company’s operations:
“I don’t plan to stop working. I will look for help to resume production,” he emphasized.
According to preliminary data, the losses amounted to $1.5 million, said Stanislav Starodubtsev.

On the night of June 17, Russia launched a massive combined attack on Kyiv, using cruise and ballistic missiles and attack drones. The head of the capital added that a total of 114 victims have turned to doctors after the massive enemy attack. 68 of them were hospitalized. Others did not require hospitalization after receiving medical care.
Wednesday, June 18, has been declared a day of mourning in Kyiv. Flags on all municipal buildings in the city will fly at half-mast on this day. Any entertainment events are prohibited.
