Legendary Ukrainian writer and poet Lina Kostenko has become an honorary ambassador of Elvira Gasanova’s GASANOVA brand. The brand’s team announced this on social media by posting a video on Instagram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The designer posted a video in which Lina Kostenko reads one of her most famous poems – By the way.
“She is an icon. She is a legend. Lina Kostenko joined a historic event for our brand and became the most honored ambassador of GASANOVA. For us, this is not just an honor – it is a symbol of heritage, strength, and beauty that live in the DNA of our culture,” writes Elvira Hasanova.
In the video, the poetess appeared in a black trench coat by GASANOVA. The stylists complemented her look with a brooch by SOLO for Diamonds.
The designer added that Lina Kostenko, like no other, “embodies the Ukrainian soul”.
“A person who embodies the Ukrainian soul like no other reflects the values of our collaboration the best,” the designer added.
Lina Kostenko rarely appears in public and gives interviews. on March 19, she turned 95 years old.
The new GASANOVA collection in collaboration with SOLO for Diamonds is dedicated to the strength, beauty, and valuable Ukrainian heritage. In it, the past meets the future, full of meaning and conscious brilliance.
Designer Elvira Hasanova presented the new collection on October 15 at the Ukrainian House in Kyiv.
