One of the most intense battles in recent memory is taking place in eastern Ukraine, particularly in the Dobropole and Pokrovsk sectors. According to the Dnipro (formerly Khortytsia) Operational and Strategic Command, the enemy is trying to use its numerical superiority and is changing tactics, infiltrating in small groups past the first line of Ukrainian positions.
“The enemy, constantly changing the methods and ways of using troops, is using the advantage in numbers and, losing personnel on a large scale, is trying to infiltrate in small groups past the first line of Ukrainian positions,” the official statement of the Dnipro Joint Forces Operation Center reads.
The military command emphasizes that such enemy infiltration does not mean “taking control of the territory.”
“The infiltration of such groups, although it necessitates the involvement of reserves to destroy them, is not “taking control of the territory”. Failure to understand this has repeatedly caused mistakes in analyzing the situation and in public discussions in the Pokrovsko-Myrnohrad agglomeration area,” the JFO explained.
Despite the difficult situation, Ukrainian defenders are acting as efficiently as possible.
“Of course, the situation is and remains difficult, and the fighting in this region is the most intense compared to other areas of the combat line. However, Ukrainian troops are making every effort to ensure that even those groups of Russians who managed to infiltrate through the first line are destroyed as soon as possible. This is exactly what is happening,” the group noted.
The command calls on citizens to be careful with information.
“We kindly ask you to take this into account and not to disseminate information from unverified and insufficiently informed sources,” the Dnipro Regional Combatant Command summarized.

Earlier, the Deepstate OSINT project recorded the occupiers’ advance in the northeast of Dobropillia, Donetsk region.
As reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", the former chief of staff of the 12th Azov Special Forces Brigade, Bohdan Krotevych, called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to pay attention to the difficult situation on the Pokrovsk-Konstantinovka line, which has been there for a long time and is only getting worse every day.
