Wizz Air launches three new resort routes from Poland: when flights start and how much tickets cost

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced the expansion of its summer flight program from Poland in 2026. The airline is launching three new direct routes to popular resorts in Bulgaria, Italy, and Greece.
This is stated in the carrier’s official announcement, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
The new flights will start in late May – early June and will operate from two Polish airports – Warsaw-Modlin and Krakow. They are aimed at the summer tourist season and may be in demand, in particular, among Ukrainians traveling through Poland.
New destinations from Warsaw-Modlin
Wizz Air is launching two routes from Warsaw-Modlin Airport:
- Warsaw-Modlin – Varna (Bulgaria)
Flights will operate three times a week — on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flights will commence on May 21, 2026. - Warsaw-Modlin — Rimini (Italy)
Flights are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The first flight will take place on May 22, 2026.
Both cities are popular resorts on the Black Sea and Adriatic coasts and are traditionally in demand during the summer.
Route from Krakow to Greece
The third new route will be launched from southern Poland:
- Krakow — Rhodes (Greece)
Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flights will start on June 9, 2026.
Rhodes is one of the most popular Greek islands, consistently ranking among the top destinations for the summer season.
How much do tickets cost
According to Wizz Air, ticket prices start at PLN 109 for the minimum fare without baggage, which is approximately UAH 1,300. The final cost depends on the departure date, demand, and selected additional services.
