Ukrainians whose homes have been damaged by the war can now quickly obtain an extract from the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property without visiting government offices. Diia has added a new feature that allows you to issue a document online in just a few clicks. This is stated in the message of the public service, informs "Komersant Ukrainian"
Why do you need an extract?
An extract from the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property is an official document that confirms the condition of your home after damage or destruction. It will be useful for:
- Getting benefits for utilities.
- Receiving insurance and social benefits.
- Termination of ownership of destroyed housing.
- Participation in assistance programs from charitable foundations or businesses.
- Submission to court as evidence.
This document simplifies bureaucratic processes, saving time and effort for Ukrainians whose housing was damaged by the war.
How to get an extract in the Diia app
To order the document, follow the simple step-by-step instructions:
- Step 1: Open Diia and go to the Services → eVindication section.
- Step 2: Select “Extracts from the registry” and click “Get started”.
- Step 3: Select the type of extraction you need and click Order.
The extract will appear in your application and will be valid for 24 hours.
