Religious organizations can book priests if they meet all legal requirements. The press service of the Land Forces of Ukraine reports on their Facebook page, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
It is noted that the reservation of clergymen should take place only if all the requirements are met, including official employment, military registration in the TCC and JV, and confirmation of the status of a clergyman.
It is also reported that, despite everything, mobilization needs remain a priority to ensure the country’s defense capability. The reservation procedure should not create obstacles to manning military formations.
The role of military chaplains in the army is also emphasized, but the reservation of clergy should take into account the quotas of confessional representation for chaplains in the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service and other formations, as provided by law.
