On Monday, January 26, Ukraine is expected to see a significant warming trend leading to a thaw. Severe frosts will remain only in parts of the north and east.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
What will the weather be like in Ukraine on Monday, January 26?
- In the western regions, it will be cloudy with no significant precipitation. The average nighttime temperature will be 1-1 degrees, and the daytime temperature will be 1-5 degrees.
- In the northern regions, it will be cloudy with rain, wet snow, and no significant precipitation in some areas. The nighttime air temperature will be -3 to -11 degrees, and the daytime air temperature will be -1 to 1 degree.
- In the central regions, it will be cloudy with rain and wet snow. The nighttime air temperature will be 1-2 degrees, and the daytime air temperature will be 1-3 degrees.
- In the southern regions, it will be cloudy with moderate rain. Nighttime temperatures will range from 1 to 3 degrees, daytime temperatures from 1 to 3 degrees.
- In the eastern regions, it will be cloudy with rain, wet snow, and moderate snow in some places. Nighttime temperatures will range from -4 to -10 degrees, and daytime temperatures will range from -2 to -4 degrees.
In turn, weather forecaster Natalka Didenko noted that the entire next week promises to be warm and wet in Ukraine. During the day on Monday, it will clearly get warmer: in the west and south, 0-5 degrees, in the rest of Ukraine, 0-5 degrees below zero, only in the northeast, -6-12 degrees.
“From January 31 to February 1, according to preliminary forecasts, a significant cold snap is likely again,” she said.
