There is an order to “deliver” everyone: the lawyer told how to act in case of forced mobilization

Cases of forced mobilization have become more frequent in Ukraine. In an interview for the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian", military lawyer Dmytro Prylypko explained what “coercion” means in legal and practical terms, and what measures should be taken to protect yourself.
Prylypko notes that the key sign of coercion is when a person is forced to go to the military enlistment office immediately, without giving him or her time to clarify the circumstances, check documents or seek legal assistance.
“We are often approached by people who are not on the wanted list, who have updated their data in time, and have passed the military qualification examination. Their military records are in order. And they are being forcibly mobilized.
According to my information, there is now an order to bring everyone. And if a person does not have a deferral or reservation, it is 100% delivery. This is, in fact, forced mobilization,” he explains.
The lawyer emphasizes that such an approach is unfair and is probably dictated by the fact that representatives of the TCC have to fulfill the so-called “plans” for mobilization.
“Have you noticed how quickly men are mobilized at the end of the month? Because, as I understand it, there are certain “standards” and the need to fulfill the target – to deliver a certain number of people.
Therefore, they violate the law, are ready to falsify data, detain without an administrative detention protocol, not wait for a lawyer, send men to training without undergoing a military medical examination,” adds Prylypko.
The lawyer also gave some advice on how to act in case of forced mobilization:
- Check documents with police and military commissariat representatives.
- Record the incident if you have a feeling that coercion is taking place.
- Call the 102 hotline and request the arrival of an investigative team.
- Seek legal assistance.
