EBRD predicts 6% GDP growth for Ukraine in 2025

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) predicts that Ukraine’s economy will grow by 3% in 2024 and by 6% in 2024. This is stated in the EBRD report, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
At the same time, the EBRD’s forecast for the current year correlates with the overall picture of all European and near-European regions, as they expect 3% overall GDP growth.
“The EBRD expects output in its regions to grow by 3.0% in 2024, up from 2.5% in 2023, despite challenges from global geopolitical tensions, including rising trade restrictions,” the report says,

In addition, the EBRD expects inflationary pressures to ease compared to last year, which was marked by a slowdown in the economy due to high energy prices as a result of the war in Ukraine and the recovery from COVID.
In 2025, growth in the regions of the bank’s operations is forecast to accelerate to 3.6%.
In Ukraine, growth is expected to reach 6% of GDP, which is not a very optimistic scenario.
“The expansion of production in Ukraine is expected to be restrained in 2024 due to significant recent damage to the electricity infrastructure,”
